Windows XP, as being one of the best of the operating systems released by Microsoft, still has it's flaws. One of these is USB driver corruption. This is common if you are using a VIA Chipset motherboard with Service pack 3. Your USB drivers will read as 1.1, not as 2.0 and will perform immensely slower then they usually would.

The problem with many mother boards today is that you can have a problem running Windows 7 on the computer. The reason is because Windows 7 did not have USB drivers for USB 3 or USB 3.1 on the CD as it did not exist when Windows 7 came to the market. The message is however generic and does not explain this to the user. It leave you with the impression that the computer lacks a DVD or CD driver which is incorrect. This does not occur with a normal standard CD drive but only with USB CD drives and USB sticks. If you have ever tried to install the AMD driver and you get a partial install then I will explain how to do this perfectly each time on Windows 10.
There is also the problem with signed drivers when you have a modded bios but this is mainly for people who use their GPU’s for mining crypto currencies. When you install the driver software from AMD the driver will not recognise your modded hardware and you will get a triangle next to the device in the device manager.
I will explain both below as each has a different method. (Modded to be done later).
